94 buick regal,cranks and starts,dies after 2 seconds,so key is ok for anti theft,but it shuts off injectors.it's a 3800 engine.can't find a good wiring diagram to see which wire is fuel feed wire to ecm,any one know the answers?

Got a 98 chevy cavalier wondering if there's a way to bypass the security system by haveing the computer reprogrammed or is there any thing else yall are doing to delete the security all together

Evening y’all, I have a 1998 Pontiac Sunfire and I am having the same issue most of y’all seem to be posting about. I moved my computer started it up drove it around put it back in the garage put it back up on jack stands and cut the factory gas tank and fuel lines out and now my theft system light is on solid on my cluster. I have tried every sequence I have found on the previous 18 pages and it still won’t start. Please help! I will start it it runs for like two seconds and dies. I leave my key in that position and all of the lights on my instrument cluster stay on in addition to my theft system!

I have a 97 grand am ,
the entire key switch is missing , cylinder with key is gone ,
I can start the car with the ignition switch on left side of steering column but it starts and cuts off
any advice on what to do ? don't want to buy a new cylinder with key they are 180 , and im not lucky enough to find a used one with the key in it at the junker ,
plan on running soon , any help will be appreciated

I have a 2002 Sunfire with the 2.2 that will run all day on ether but as soon as you try to let it run on its own it starts and dies almost immediately. Thinking maybe a security problem i plugged the cluster back in but nothing on the cluster is lighting up. Car ran like a champ prior to stripping and building any ideas?

Ran like a champ prior to stripping and building. After reading about all of the anti theft problems I tried plugging the cluster back in but none of the lights on the cluster gauge light up. Any help would be appreciated. I've been hearing a lot about simplified wiring harnesses for other cars so i was wondering if anyone has created one for the GM 2.2 that may solve my problem? Or has anyone succesfully carb swapped one and not had it be a turd?

Has anyone ever put a 3.4 out of a 95 monte into a 96 lumina? I have put in a resistor and got it to crank and the security light comes on for a moment then goes off. It will fire on ether. I drove the 95 to the shop when I pulled the Kframe and motor and left the engine harness from the 95 with the engine then plugged it into the firewall of the 96. I am wondering if the blue wire on the 95 is in a different pin than the 96. 95 had resistor system also. Thank you for the help.

With VATS, there are 15 different resistor possibilities. The 2 cars may very well have used 2 different resistors.
