Was going to hardnose a bumper on until I removed the factory bumper, and noticed that the core support sticks past the end of the subframe about an inch or 2, are you guys moving the core support back? or am I going to have to use some frame brackets and shocks that I have off a old iron?

Depends on your rules, If I had the choice that core would go back about 8" and my bumper would be nearly touching the steering box but my rules don't allow shortening of any kind.

Yes, it is 78 and to answer some the ? To make these cars hard they do take alot of work and trying to find one cheap is a task in itself What took you out at Osky, steering? I had to buy the DVD just to see how your car did and I gotta say, That thing was a tank! My electric fuel pump wire shorted out in my battery box

these are great cars i hard nose them with a good bumper and move the care support back and run some good bumper shocks, have a four point cage, and as fare as the back i have done a couple different things still kinda of a working progress its all about shackles and springs, i wouldnt run 7.00 15s at any wheel position on these cars way too big and everyone thinks these cars are outlaws cars when they look at them, just something you have to deal with and people getting mad at you for demoing a "classic" car almost got in a couple fights over that haha,

^^^ exactly, a well built car with no kickers is better than a thrown together one with shot ton of kickers

The A-arms are almost identical to old iron GM's. If you want the front end higher you gotta build them like an old iron GM. Take the bump stops out #1 and if you really want height you'll have to do some cutting and welding. I think im going to tip my next one. Frame goes down infront of the cross member.
