7 or 8" weld in centers are a pretty inexpensive way to make any wheel fit.

yea i make my own centers its free that way. i picked up another 2nd gen today only rust on the car is front driver side floor board couple small holes. cant wait to build these things

yea the rules are very good for this derby. also aquired a 14 bolt to put in it so hopefully wont break any axles

I just got done swapping astro van upper and lower A Arms and spindle onto my 79 trans and was able to squeeze 70s f250 2wd front coil springs in doing this gained me 2" of extra height from the highest factory position I could get the center of the hub measuring from the top of frame to center of hub and with the heavy coils I don't think I will even need to weld the A Arms down it barely moves. I'm also thinking that box vic spindles are 1" taller than the astro spindle if I'm not happy with my final bumper height I might try swapping spindles. If this helps anyone
