Tips on a 2000 alero? Has the 2.4 can do just about anything other than weld the doors shut if you can't find a good bumper take the back one off and weld it to the front, protect your spindles and use the rear. I took the trunk off my 2004 and creased it and it went right in nice and tight

move the whole whip back as far as you can, and move your body and engine grounds. make sure theyre real tight or it will cause a world full of "idfk what I did"

How are the trunks on these things. Looking to make it somewhat strong. How about dishing it? Or would it be better off to tuck the trunk run threaded rod right in front of the tuck and dimple the frame right before the tuck?

I still say leave the bumper off but squish the trunk down with threaded rod and big washers

Got a 98 grand am with the 3.1. car is nice and solid but has a blown head gasket. a buddy offered me his beretta with a good 3.1 since his trans is gone. Wondering if id have any troubles with swapping them out. thought motor mounts might be a little different and wondering if anyone else has done it. If its an easy swap ill go for it. to build it planned on wedgeing the trunk down. any ideas how to stiffen up the front. rumor has it some guys are building luminas for where im planning to run. dont want to put a lot of time and money in if there is no chance in compeating with the bigger cars. thanks
