Running a 95 Beretta with 3100 next Sunday. Stock show. Folded the hood and front of the fenders over the radiator, drilled a hole and compressed the shocks, moved the computer and wiring harness. Gonna prebend in the pits. Donuts on the back. Anything else I should do to help? Only thing I'm concerned about is that the back sheet metal where the rear bumper bolts on is all rust. I'm pretty sure the bumper will break off right away, but I'm worried it might pull the back end down instead when the sheet metal rips from all the rust. Leave it or take it off?

If it's half rotted off anyway, just jerk it off. If you are pre bending the frame rails, not just the sheet metal, it should pack halfway right.

How can I prebend the frame rails? Can't really do much til we are in the pits.

Either notch with a torch, or stick a jack under the back of the rail & sledge ahell of a dimple into te top of the rail.....little over a foot from the end.

Sorry for sounding like a rookie, but wouldn't I have to take the body off to do that? I guess that's the biggest part where I'm confused.

Don't be afraid to ask legitimate questions. Your car is a unibody. The frame rails are spot welded to the body. Crawl under the back & look. Your bumper bracket are right at the back of the rail.
So the answer is "no." You will need access to the inside of the trunk though. You will access it from there, right through the trunk pan.

Where on the 3100's does the fuel feed line hook up? Is it the big line on the back left?
