I know of one being built here in Central Indiana right now and they are putting a Vic body on it.....those frames are wicked!!! Can you post some pics??

Probably near impossible but has anyone tried putting a totally different car body on a Checker Frame? I thought long and hard about doing a body swap.I liked the idea of adding better steel. I'll tease you guys a little bit.Pix's are from a few year's ago.Car has alot more done at the moment.$hit ton more to go.lol

an old checker... wow you'd think those might be worth some money!! i'd always heard they were tough... anymore all you see are lincolns and vics as taxis... I think some of the newer ones are longer in the middle?

The new ones are, 6" of extra leg room for the rear seat passengers.

An some people want a pretty penny for them I owned the actual checker cab from the movie d.c cab With me. T. It had leopard interior. Gold plated trim an bumpers and the White House on the roof top and a plane that circled it lol. I smashed it

For all the work it would take to even try to make one worth running you could build two 03 crown vics and have better cars.

ron17t have you built a taxi? if you haven't why would you say that you could build 2 vics and where I am at they aren't let us run 03 and newer ford vics
