I agree... putting a spacer at the core support and firewall would put pressure on that rear bolt making that push up which would make the front go down

check out the 2012 mopar pics page 3 and 4... my 78 newport "RAMPAGE" car was tilted like were talking using spacers, the frame was level... first time I've ran a pointy so I have no comparison really whether it helped or not... it nosed fast and hard

The one I just built with a pointy on front never went up with a pointy on the nose. The sub was bone stock with 3'' spacers between core support and top of frame. It pushed the sub straight back behind the A-arms thou.but it did bend a riveria front frame with a 76 chevy front hardnosed all to hell to win derby. not sure if next one will be built the same or not,it has its benefits thou.IMO

I did this to a shocker last year. Spaced the firewall mount 2 inches and the core support about 2.5 inches. I also thought of idea of it putting pressure on the rear sub mounts so i used the way I set up my cage / gas tank protector / halo bar and down tubes to fix that problem. No bellying. It was flat sprung as well. Had a 74 Newport bumper hardnosed but only after I cut about 3 inches off the front of frame. Engine had a DP and frame seams were welded from firewall forward. Everything crinkled. Nothing went up or down. Just in like an accordion. It went in just behind the shocktube, infront of a arm, behind a arm and just infront of the firewall. Dished out quite a bit damaged with it.
Whoever says that it doesn't change the angle of the frame is either not checking it in the same spot, not doing it the way i did, or needs a new level. It wasn't drastic but it did change

the frame stays in the same spot and all your doin is move the assend of car up and down which makes it look tilted. think if you can ;D hold the frame in the same spot now pivot the body on rear sub mounts. body moves not the frame. now hold the body in same spot and pivot the sub and the front comes down on frame but at the end off the day all yoiu did was drop the assend of the car down. now that you droped the assend and lifted at firewall you do lift the rear sub up SOME when you space the firewall. i would think it wouldnt be much. plus wouldnt it be better to bolt frame rite to boby and cut and tilt like ford? thats y we pull body mounts to get body and frame together rite?
