I have to chance to maybe purchase 3 of these. There really isn't any tips/tricks besides getting creative with halo, down bars, and a tank protector. I don't wanna buy them, and than realize that they're sh!t. They'd probably be ran in limited weld or a stock type show. No full weld. I'd assume you have to beat the trunk area down a bit like dasimzy did.

If you can change bumpers I think you would be fine running them in stock rules

My brother had one when I was a kid, just a cool car, I think my kiddos would like to ride in one (or 3). ;D

I'd probably sell one but they're listed as parts cars, so I don't know how together they are. I'll definitely let you know if we get them.

a rollover bar is a must on these.......but put it under the roof instead of over it no doubt roof bar on the inside and tie it into pillar if possible then some big ole heavy roof signs to the rear with plates on the inside that mirror the sign and make the rear weak so it packs in quick and does not put stress to far forward oh yah and dont use it at all lol less for defense jmo

I am going to go ahead and link this thread as the official 71 - 73 Riviera tips, tricks, and pics thread. I have become famous finally, lot to learn on these cars and you will from my misfortune. this car lasted 3 hits never ever used the frt, didn't have time. went right after the king himself War Wagon 58 in a heat race (dumb move ) I f i would of used the nose liked planned in feature things would of played out much different. body style and drivers choices is this cars weakness.

Any body that ran these keep the interior pieces on these. I'm thinking of restoring one and no one make aftermarket dashes and gause so I'll need to have them restored

When I built mine, I tried to sell parts off of it and it was a huge hassle. Sold a couple small things, but did not have any luck with the rear window and mint dash. That was a few years ago, maybe things have changed from a parts perspective.
