i have a 73 to build but wanna see if the front end is worth how bad the 73s are in the back.....so im not gonna worry about it till i run my 76 The 73s are plenty hard up front and the backs not terrible, you just can't expect it to be like a tow package car.

Yeah junking new styles and everything else like it was no big deal It's not only Rivieras that can do that. I watched a 225 do the same thing to some of the same drivers who built the same cars at Blizzard Bash. But yes, the Riviera at Spring Explosion looked pretty damn good. I wished I had gone over and looked at it before the derby.

I have run both, but I'm not trying to argue with you at all. As always, it depends on the rules and the type of build. Both very good cars and I'm an old iron purist so I'll always pull for the old iron against the new stuff. With that being said, the vics are nasty these days and it takes a very well built old iron to compete with and/or beat them.

You know how this website can be.

Well, With the new DI bumper mounting rule: Second method to mount bumper: - Remove all brackets and shocks and discard. - Leave forward radiator support mount in stock location (bolted/floating mounts such as Cadillac may be welded to frame in stock location. - You may shorten frame in front of mount but must utilize stock body mount hole. - Weld a 4 inch wide by 3/8 thick plate from bumper to forward most part of top A-arm bracket, outside of frame only. Do exceed. From my rule research, the car most likely was only bending just infront of the humps, at the humps and or behind the humps..
