You can use any factory intake you just have to hog out the two center holes on each side . It will bolt right up

no one is going to give you every single spec to there motor, espically if they have had good luck with there combo. Do some research of your own and your budget and horsepower expectations are unrealistic for a reliable engine.

exactly, you dont need 400 and some horses to be competative, i run 325hp and i get a lot of compliments on my engine and its very reliable and starts evertyime when its hot. thats what you need. so like redneckracing12 said do some research on what kind of parts and stuff to look up.

BIG HP is more for show than anything, the key is a motor that is going to, keep its cool and start when hot, handle RPMS, and doesn't hesitate going 800 RPM to 5000 RPM, even if it's only 250 HP, throw some low gears behind it and wholla you have power for FAARRR cheaper... why spend money to make a ton of HP (which torque is the key anyway) when a set of gears is $250 hell a mild built rear can be done for $800 and it is amazing what a low gear can do in a lower HP engine all BUDGET MINDED keeping deby cost DOWN

If your looking to do the 1800-2200 buy an ls engine. Read the thread a few threads down from this one. Might take a while since its about 120 pages now.

Im in the process of building my first derby engine which is a .030 over 350 and I have a set of gm performance stage 2 bowtie heads with angle plugs that are already built and ready to bolt on. Are these heads a good fit for a derby engine or do I want to go with something else.

What springs do I need to match up with the summit 1104 cam kit? I have a stock 76 chevy 2 bolt main car/truck 350. Not sure which heads.
