i just scored a 76 delta 88 . is this considered a mid size or fullsize . how are the bumpers is there holes in the frame like the pontiac i have to worry about would it be ok in stock show or better in in limted weld Full size car ...bumpers are okay ...and yes they have the holes in the front rails ..(bop) ..buick oldsmobile and pontiac all have the holes ..this car would be a good car for either show depending on the shape ..it will also have the plastic inner fenders but not to worry ..they may not be as hard as impala or buick clips they are still just find and will hold there own

The Poncho clip is a couple inches longer than the chevy clip. Last one I build, I just used the Impala radiator support and the Poncho fenders.

No, I used a 74 impala radiator support, bumper, and gloves. It was a tough car, weak ball joints.

STROMI, did everything bolt up correctly when you put the Chevy core support in the Pontiac? or did you have to modify it? and if so what modifications did you do and how did the clip hold up with the Chevy core support and Pontiac fenders?

Also, what would be the benefit of running a 73 Impala rear bumper on a 74-76 Impala as opposed to the 74-76 style rear bumper? I'm assuming the 73 makes the rear pack in better? Maybe less of a chance of falling off? And do the 73 rear bumper brackets differ from the 74-76 rear bumper brackets?

I don't really see an advantage to using a 73 sedan impala style rear bumper on a 74-76. The bumper brackets are heavily different. I have run them on new style caddys though with good results.

And do the 73 rear bumper brackets differ from the 74-76 rear bumper brackets? Two totally different animals... The '73 has basically a chrome skin that bolt directly onto the outside of the frame rails.. The '74-'76 bumpers are bolted to a shock that's mounted to brackets bolted to the frame...

the 73 impala rear bumper bracket makes a good "fix" for use on the front of a hardnosed gm car take a look, youll see what i mean
