Congrats to our customers at Urban Destruction that got the Mad Dog awards, sounds like the Myers and just a few others were the only ones that knew where the gas pedal was at. Sounded like it was a snore fest, idle speeds turned up and making taps all night, what a show. That will keep people coming back to fill the grand stands and make your big payouts, lol. We might release a 5hp Briggs engine along with our Low HP derby engine, sand bag special.

Damn i just wish you all would give Baldwin a damn break!!! If you dont like what they do for whatever reason then just turn your cheek and do your own thing and build your own engine or get it from somewhere else. Yes...we all know that a high HP engine isnt needed near as much as overall reliability is but it is nice to have if wanted. But personally i think a little less HP engine thats just as reliable is perfect. Gotta mean a little cheaper price which is good for the guys that cant afford the high $ engines...right??? Who wouldnt be up for that??? I know i would. I think more guys would be for it then against it. IMO Baldwin is building DERBY engines. We can all open a magazine and order a bunch of parts and build any high HP engine that we want to but that doesnt mean its gonna run hot or with no water. Reliability is key and a little extra HP is 2nd...i think its good for the sport. Yes...time will tell with this new engine but thats just how life is and im sure Baldwin will have no problem figuring it out. Keep up the good work!!!

Looked like the Baldwin air filters came in handy at Spring X, water resistant 11x5. I believe three of the 4 winning team had them on.

We will not be making it to Bash for Cash, we just have way to much going to get out of here. Sorry for the change of plans, we have made arrangements with the guys that were picking up engines.

Congrats to Steve Cioppa on multiple Mad Dogs this weekend at Bash for Cash. Also sounded like our 3100 engines did awesome as well, one making it straight through from his heat, the other getting Mad Dog in the cons and moving on the the feature. 3100 got 16th with a broken axle and the 3.1 got 13th after having his sub-frame come in on the front timing cover knocking the belt off and putting a hole in the cover losing oil for 35 minutes along with a lower rad hose that got cut 1 minute into the feature, no water and low oil. Looks like we have the carb's figured out as well for the 3100 engines as well, both engines ran flawlessly all weekend, custom carbs, custom distributor's and custom intake manifolds. Call for pricing at 573-788-2329
