1976 dodge charger 360/904 Fresh  almost too nice to smash!!! stripped headers on ready to get down to business  built and painted!!!!    after 1st heat  after feature (5th place) caught fire twice drivers side rear of the motor.. no clue what caused it   after second run (one run and done) caught fire same place as before and lost trans 5th place and junk  |

Heck yea and I'm totally not saying that I wouldn't have ran it. It just woulda been a car for a different set of rules. Or put more time in it. That's all.

there was alot of time in that doba really.. it went though maybe one of the hardest hitting heats i have ever been in .. there was 4 heats they took 3 out of each heat and a consi.. there was 7 cars that made it out to the feature.. and the one and done i was just out to finish it.... also my first mopar.. been running gms for along time and just found that doba. IT was a long worse then it looked.. drivers side K frame mounts was bad and broke.. pass side rear k frame mount was missing.. truck floor.... what trunk floor.. and the rear rails where weak.. had TONS of bondo in it .. got it $400 cheap with a runing 360/904 in it plus another set of doba bumpers so i didn;t get hurt..
