056 mopar got its stick broke for sandbagging. I would say the same thing if I was watching the 056 MoPar at Antigo,WI that got 5th place in feature. BUT heres the real reason; - In the heat my wife couldn't reach the gas pedal (we installed a new style gas pedal set up for this year,and when we mounted seat in it was for my height,not hers).Also I had the idling set to low on carb so engine quit a couple times when car got hit.So we fixed these to problems before feature. Onto the feature; The ballast ressistor (porcellin box) broke.Yes we run mopar electronic ignitions along with all MoPar drivetrains.First time in 25 years we ever had that problem.By the time she plugged in back up ressistor she was counted out,due to me zipp tying the wiring harness up a little to tight. Now everybody knows the real reason she got 5th in feature.  Thankyou |
