Hey Freak Show how do you get your hood open again with those straps on it? Do you just cut them and reweld?

Yeah hood is welded as well; the hole in hood is big enough to access anything on the motor to work on. Headers did get bent, for the first time ever for me, but that was due to motor mounts breaking. I drove half the main with the motor flopping around all over.

this car won a area chain and bang derby in July (not by me)... just picked it up to finish off on September 15, got alot of work to do to bring it up to rules, sub bent down on both sides in front of a arms, so gonna plate it, get the front up and ass down and pray it goes up... has a running 360/727 in it already... needed it so I could stay in top 4 in our points standings   ran sept. 30th  after  |

74 Newport - ran 3 shows. 3 heats, 2 features. 1 heat mad dog 1 feature mad dog 1 4th out of 17 cars Car took and gave some good shots. I understand why some guys are so set on running old iron only. Night and day difference from a square ford (that isn't welded and cobbled together to compensate for weakness) to this car.      |
