And even if you don't run it again, try and sell it off before you scrap it.

You guys first started asking questions on the old IDDA site, right? If I remember right, your cars were Super(pun intended)clean then too. But looks like you've come a long way in your builds! Good stuff!! You're from the high desert area? Keep up the good work!

Not much to show on the wagon lost the axle in the first minute of the qualifying heat, going to run it next year.
Yes I started out on the old IDDA site when I first started building cars. You have a good memorie we are from the high desert. That site helped so much those first couple years. Thanks for the nice complements!
Mike.

Beautiful cars guys, man I would love to have some of that punisher stuff. By the way that track is HUGE compared the ones here. Looks like a great show.

I'd like to think I helped you get a start.LOL I know I gave you the tip about how to set up your trunk. Can't remember just what else. Wish there was a way to find old IDDA stuff. I think one of your first cars, was a 69/70?

I agree it would be cool to see all the old post from the old IDDA.
Actually my first car was a 75 Newyorker and I started posting when I built my first Imperial it was a 72.
Yeah I gained a lot of knowledge from that site and I got a lot of great info here as well. We have been out of building cars for about 6 years when we started this years build.
What was your user name on IDDA?
Punisher66j
This years track was the largest we have run on as well and it was really nice to have that much room to move.

Yeah, it would definitely be nice. Usually here in SE Iowa we barely have enough room to even open up our motors. Usually have to push dead cars out of the way.

So do you guys have a rule against hard hits? why was the bright green shocker dqed when him and the wagon went nose to nose. Yes I was DQ'd for hitting to hard in the Green shocker. Was told that I was driving to aggressive and was going to hurt someone. They said I should not have been going full length of track to hit people. Told them what would have happened if I had brought my imperial out with a built motor. Then what would they have said. LOL

That is the dumbest thing i have heard when other guys were doing the same sounds like a way to take the competitive drivers out of the equation.
