Im not allowed a cage and both crossmembers underneath are bent and the subframe twisted weirdly im pulling motor and tranny bumpers abd deiveshaft sensing reste to scrap ive gotten my moneys worth out of the car

It'll be like that until somebody gets killed or seriously injured because there passenger door got jarred into there head.

I would never run a show without at minimum a floating cage, but to each their own.
Think about if that same Imperial was lined up for your driver side front tire, got caught by another car and hit your drivers door.
With a cage it would hurt, without a cage you would have been crushed.
Me personally, I would get a group of drivers together and STRONGLY insist that a basic cage is needed. Take the pictures of that car along to show why.

I agree but the officials are pretty fair when it comes to safety other then car rules automatic dq for drivers door hit no warning
And if they were to let us make cages drivers would take it way to far in building them or a whole bunch of them would simply stop racing

That doesn't mean anything when a driver is taking a shot and gets tagged, spins out of control, and accidently pushes the drivers door through the car.

They can DQ all they want on the first DD hit, but it only takes one hit sometimes. I got a big hole in my drivers door in the last derby I ran, and it was one of my friends that put it there and all it took was one hit. Accidents happen.
