The 9" rearends were used up unti 81 or 82 in the trucks. It is most likely the 31 spline.

If the gladiator is in restoreable condition, head over to a jeep forum and you can get some cash out of it.

my 75 1/2 ton ford had a 9 inch rearend but it was only 28 spline so you better pull it apart and check and i put 4.86 gears and mini spool in it for 250 bucks brand new but now im switching to a early 90's full floater ford 3/4 ton rear end and 3/4 ton 60's straight axle the twin ibeam doesnt hold up.

are there any benafits to folding the bottom of the bed sides up to the bottom of the bed and bolting or welding it

Hey I got a question for all you Ford Gurru's. First of all have you ever had the chance to run a 460 from the '68-'71 era? You know the 365 horse 460's? My question is if I bought an edle brock rpm air gap manifold would it come alive with 410 gears? Of course in a Ford Truck. This is the 10th derby for this motor. Any input would be helpful.

61 F100, any good? Cab is tied into the bed. Can get it fairly cheap.
