How do male/female connectors fail? It's just a way to connect the wires without having to wrap. You continue to wrap your wires and be the guy out there constantly having to restart his care because his HEI wire came unwrapped, I'll stick to my male/female connectors. They fail by breaking five minutes after you put them on. I've yet to have wires "untwist" while I'm running.

Learn to do it right and you will have no problems. EDIT: BTW I just use an alligator clip on my hei wire. No thing to come untwisted that way.

What is the easiest way to wire a (gas tank and starter and anything else) derby car. I'm new to derbying and looking to learn tricks to make me more successfull. Other than wiring any other tips you have would be muchly appreciated. PM me would be easiest to go thru and read so message me if possible! Thanks in advance!

I apologize for being vague, I'm extremely new to derbying and I haven't gotten another car to derby yet but my 1st (and only) derby car was a 85 chevy caprice and I figure I'd stay with the late 70's to mid 80's ford and chevys for awhile so jist trying to expand my knowledge on certain subjects.

So you don't even have an engine that you are trying wire? When you do, go to that section on here. There are wiring diagrams for each one. Knowledge is power, but common sense saves lives.
