Would it hurt to crease before welding? It would make more sense to weld everything while the whole car is not creased. I'd be worried that it'd be too hard to weld it with an uneven surface.

will probably leave a biggrt gap between the seams and you might not have a flush surface to weld too. I would weld then crease, but no it wont hurt the car.

i weld then crease the car, then reweld wherever the metal has torn. Have tried creasing then welding just makes life that much more of a pain to try and lay a bead down.

i have done both. i usually crease than weld everything. reason being, after it is welded i cant crease some things... i crease everything, outside, inside, under the car i can. (i run compacts) i only crease the back half pretty much.. the doors stay untouched till done. its not too much trouble welding over the creases... i think its a plus in a little way. my plates get formed around the crease. weld it down the door and form it to the other side. ;D

Anyone have a diagram of how to dish/kanoo trunks? like to the point where the speaker deck on a sedan is sitting on top of the humps?

For what model car? Most Ford products I've seen have the speaker deck removed. You basically a sledge or something with downward force and push it down from the center out.

get mine from speedway motors. they sell a splined one that slips over and then has a set screw.
