What's the best way to remove the windows out of a 94 burban besides busting them out? Wanting to save the glass.

What's the best way to remove the windows out of a 94 burban besides busting them out? Wanting to save the glass. Tried taking them out carefully from my 94 burban and shattered. Just posted video on my YouTube channel about busting them out as the easiest way. Perhaps try heat? The rear cargo windows are set in and essentially "glued" into place. If someone knows a clean way, I'd like to hear it.

Use a cable off the hood release Used a guitar string strung between 2 pares of vice grips before. Works, but slow and not always possible depending on the angle.

Ok, I did not read anything about best year of suburban due to frame thickness or just better built construction wise. Is a 75 better than a 83? Is the frame thicker on a 3/4 ton compared to a half or is it just springs? Thanks for the info guys.

Olfa knife and lots of washer fluid for lube. keep a sharp blade in your knife..and cut the glue from the inside.
Start at the top and as you can start to get a bit of an opening to happen . use a wooden door shim to keep a small amount of pressure on the glass.
This wil help with your cuts.
Gloves and eye protection are advised.
