Cast iron single plane spreadbore intake. Also on the trans for the auto's it's the 700r4/4l60/4l60e I bolted a 350th to mine used the factory l even used the 4l60e flexplate.

Not really, besides 1996 and up Vortec heads where added just like the 5.7. And structural reinforcing ribs up front eliminating the two freeze plugs (on the front and back)

I have a 1992 4.3 with 2003 Vortec Heads. Would this cause a hesitation with power with the Vortec head on a non Vortec block? I've ran this motor in two shows already and in both it always dies in gear but only when you floor the gas pedal. I have to tether the pedal to get it to not die and keep pressure when i shift into reverse or drive or else it also dies. But in nuteral and park it revs with no problem, even flooring the gas pedal. Any other ideas on what it could be before i go and find a set of 1992 Heads to clean and polish up to throw on for next season?
Note this is my first ever 4.3.

my 95 vortec 4.3 in a volvo wagon loved it ran great till roter button broke. is that garden hose as fuel line? See the slit down the side of the hose? It's just a protective wrap around the line. I usually just use foot long pieces in spots where they might rub somewhere.
