I've got a 4.3 in a 2004 s10. Will I have to buy another intake to carb it or can I modify the stock one? I'd rather run this than rebuild a 250 straight 6 for it as long as I can carb it and get a turbo 350 or 400 to bolt up What kind of carb do u want to put on there because u can buy a plate on eBay to carb it

I was going to use a Rochester 2g that I've got but I'm open to anything really. I'd run it stock as it is but the tranny took a shit and the transfer case isn't healthy either

I never found my rod and it ran for another 15 minutes before getting too hot. Fired right back up after cooldown.

Beings how you're talking about holes in the block, I have an issue with mine on the water jacket side, I'm thinking it's time to go old school and braze it shut.
Any opinions

Any opinions Brazing would be your best bet with preheat and post heat to avoid cracking anywhere. Or a Nickle based stick welding rod again with preheat and post heat

So I have a 02 Chevy zr2 s10. Want to try to turn it to carb. Or at least get rid of all the wires when I strip it out. Anyone know the easiest way to do it. Gunna be running s10 in figure 8s but don't want the mess of wires.
