Stop giving him ideas!! Lol. Only body or frame welding technically allowed is driver door, bumper seams, bumper-to-bracket, bracket-to-frame, and any necessary patchwork on a bent frame.
That Malibu will probably be the monster at the show anyway. We were allowed 108 last year and my Fox Mustang was the longest one there.

Seen full size guys running Vic's and a 4.3 slide the motor back all the way and shortern the frame and bring radiator support back. Anything like that likely to go on with your car ? 4.3 was my first choice but i scored a running and driving capri (mustang) for free so the motor/trans got put in the (G) and the capri shell will be used next year.Is a pretty stock show so not too much welding.

Looks like there will be miles In between the radiator and the motor . Running deep gears to make up for the lack of displacement ? Lots of room . I have a set if 4.56's im putting in. I wish I could find a set of 5.13's,I have that ratio in 2 of my mustangs and I think they work great with a stock motor and trans. since u cant find the lower gears drop down your rear tire size to change up your gear ratio.

Seen a lot of demo cars but very few built as nice and clean as your builds hatchet. No gob stoppers welds, nicely fabbed cage, not butchered with a torch and half a$$ welded together. I strive to build cars as nice as yours.

I strive to build cars as nice as yours. Thank you. Im a self taught welder and had my fare share of crappy welds,I take a lot of pride in my work especially when I build a cage (my favorite part of the build), I do have torches but I have never filled up the tanks,I cut all my metal with a chop saw,cut off wheels and a sawzall. Cleaner straight cuts are easier to weld and make a stronger joint. I build my cars as if my kids were going to drive them because my kids are driving them.

Lookin' good. Where it going? It will run in Calhan against the limited weld compacts.
