They are basically a Dana 30(however parts don't swap), pretty decent sized axles and bolt in. I don't know if I just got lucky, but had several runs on it and don't think I even bent an axle. That being said, 3:73 is probably what gears are in it and you won't find anything else that will fit(done tons of research).

I'm installing a 2.5 iron duke and mating it to a th350 trans. Im having issues with a torque converter/flywheel match to mate up the two. Anyone have any info or ran into the same problem and able to help?

If it was the AMC 2.5 Flywheel is diffrent and you will need to go with one for early S-10 or late 70's Monza.
