I want to take dash out of my 87 Volvo rwd anything I should be aware of before doing it YES !!!!!! follow out your wires instead of just hacking !!! some will go to relays on the right side of dash and some are needed to run. as for grounds don't cut any and just unscrew them move them and hook them back up.

I'm thinking about doing an X of chain from top corner of core support to opposite side bumper shock. I don't know what else to do for it. I have just uploaded these images:

I'd remove all the speedy nuts and small bolts and replace with 5/16 bolts/nuts/washers. but if your allowed to add metal take it to the max of the rules !!!

Another question smashbob12 what bumper is good on the rear of these cars it had and alumina one on there Run it through the frame rail and shorten. Being allowed 4x4 angle there should be enough to but up or run through. I ran 80's Vic's but that was before we were allowed to Load.

Just going thru tech with my 1986 Volvo 240. Guy was laughing cause the car was a 105” wheel base on the drivers side but passenger was 101” had a hard time putting it on the trailer to go to the derby too rear end would not line up with my ramps. Fell off a couple times. Good times transmission mount broke and the trans dropped on the car in derby. Got 10th of 20 right in the middle of the pack.
