one thing i like about these is with enough patience you can remove about all of the wiring from under the hood and fenders and relocate it inside the car. another thig is the truncks seem to always ball up very nice without doing a punch of prebending or tucking or any of the crap. www.youtube.com/watch?v=aoJ5dnCHbvU here is a link to a video with my brothers 93-94. (2nd run, and didnt have much power) still made/took some decent hits

Fix the motor mounts so the axles do not pop out from excessive motor travel. x2 had this happen to me with my yota my first hit. threw it back in, chained the struts to the car to create a inward pressure (tried to keep it simple only had a short amount of time to do it) and ran it the same show the next day. the car is in my sig, there it is about to go into its third derby. motor was junk afterwards, didn't double clamp my rad hose

dang... i've been curious about making a fwd rwd but so far havent looked into it any farther. i might try it when i have more time and space. for some reason i have a feeling that might become a lot more popular and just like the first guys that started running the bubble fords, they started ahead of everyone because they were the ones that already knew the ins and outs.

Good or bad? Toyota Tercel. its a 5 speed, not sure of the year was told it was an 87 but it doesn't look like the pictures on the internet. First small car, but i still want to compete. i heard the the grapevine that fwd yota's are the best fwds? is this true?

Around here 4 cylinder luminas are hard to beat. however I have won against them with Toyotas plenty.

Honestly i can't tell compacts apart when they are all stripped out. well aside from the rwd's like mustangs and pacers etc. So would i build this like a corolla?

Had. A 99 Camry last yr if it wasent for me going on vacation I would of kept it my own ignorance I left the fusion box under the Hood n took it our on a Volvo but was going toe to toe with luminas n Volvo's all day with it I'd definitely grab another in a heart beat. Also never had a problem with the motor mounts and I left them stock maybe I just got lucky

How many cars have you ran? Some of these toyotas have a small mount up to on the passenger side that mounts by the strut tower when these brake it allows the motor to rock and stress cv joints. I have built a bunch of toyotas and dismantle cars all day it never hurts to run a tight chain around motor mounts. Tom

my brother and friend both ran corollas 2x and didnt have problems with that. the front ends were both FUBARed by the end too. is it a certain angle of hit that causes them to go maybe??
