A couple of my stepdad/teammate's Mustangs. Between these 2 he won almost 3 grand and ran in about 20 derbies. Never placed lower than 3rd that I know of. And here's the Thunderbird he ran a little too aggressively. He got 4th on this night after driving over a girl's hood Here's a picture of it taking me out in my first derby ever...I got 2nd and he of course got the win. The bastard lol Then the TBird got given to me to finish her off. Here's an action shot of my 2nd derby ever and my 2nd 2nd place finish in a row. Lost to a Volvo 240

First mustang I've built...so far so good it has 6 runs so far and is the hardest car I've ran...more so than the lumina I ran last year. Fresh: After run #6 Back end shot up on last hit it tore at the notch...I'll just pull it back down. Front went to hell finally in the last heat it was rusty so I'm going to restub it and go with a softer bumper and longer shocks

The back of my wagon went to shit. I'm gonna try to pull it back out and run it again.

Just got thinking, I probably should have put some sort of, "kids don't try this at home" disclaimer on those pics... I guess I'm just kind of used to having cars on their side in my barn... lol I usually reserve that one for outside & just go for upside down, but using the cherry picker is a nifty idea

It can get a little questionable when its just about to go over. Another hand is useful, and some tires/wheels, ect on the ground side of things is essential to keep it from going all the way over.
