well guys i have a delima i have a little bit of rust the size of my fist in my strut tower shouls i plate it or re stub the front Plate! It will need all the love you can give it at strut towers. The more the plate the better. Rust both sides so it's plated on both sides. Keep all the sway out and it will be good till you nose it.

How wide of rears are people putting under these? Debating whether to build a 9" for everything or half ass build the 8.8 for fox bodies and a 9" for my other compacts.

Fox rearends are 57", 94-98 are 58.5". I'd say you could probably go as wide as 59" or so in a fox depending on wheel spacing, tires, and other factors.

As much rust you have I would restub. And change rotors to 5 bolts

Do what you want, but if it were me, I'd be pulling the engine, trans, and maybe rearend and crushing the rest. Foxs aren't that great of cars imo to fix that kind of rust. A floor patch or 2 sure. That thing is way beyond that though...
The one thing I've found with rusty cars is there is always more than what the eye can see. Many times things rust from the inside out and you don't know how thin something is until a hole or crack appears.
