Ok guys I'm running the 2000 sunfire Sunday car is stripped I for some reason was able to remove the instrument panel still runs and everything ok plans 4 point cage hard nosing a rear 70s mopar bumper or home made bumper doors all to be welded trunk lid to be welded 4x4 angle on the bottom and top of the core support 1 in all thread through body mount on cradle new v groove tubes 15 inch in the front donuts in back I'm definitely going to be stiffening the front suspension. But I would like true opinions and I am wondering what to do with the rear trailing arms I'm allowed 2x2 tubing if I'm missing something let me know I'm going by twisted metal rules

2” tubing will work out fine. I welded all thread to each of the rear suspension arms then wrapped with 1/4” angle. Welded rear suspension solid, trunk dished and seam welded solid and seemed to hold up great.

Take a torch to the holes on the rims to make them fit than put a washer under the wheel nut to keep the techs from saying they will fly off.

Ya its hard trying to line up but with a hub that's been removed already its very easy. Go thru a lot of doughnuts myself from dirt going into the bead .
