I've got a 97 Grand Am, and they are pretty much the same build as Cavaliers, and from what I read a year ago they have the same wiring as Cavy's and Beretta's etc.
SOOOOOO, do you guys completely remove the air bag sensors, or does this shut the car off? Do you just unplug the sensor up front or the air bag brain box as well? Derby is Saturday, and need answers quickly!

From all the tips I've seen, take the temperature sensor out of the upper coolant hose and zip tie it up in the air so that it never gets a hot reading.

^^^Do that with a fresh one. Leave the old one in the hole. That's what I am understanding.

New or used, or a plug to fit the hole.

1. Unplug sensor 2. Leave in block 3. Plug in new sensor 4. Tie out of harm's way

They separate much easier than GM's.
