amkear613/chiefnavajo91 :
You guys ever figure out a cure for them dam spindles or any aftermarket ones ? Ran a 98 2 door accord this past saturday and a dam first timer hits left front tire during a red flag about 30 seconds into the heat and broke the spindle. still ended up 7 or 8th out of 24 cars with no steering till left axel finally broke from tire laying down.

Newbie to the forum...going to run my first compact ever, and 1st derby in 25 years. Have 1996 civic and have been reading tips, however I would like to know the best stock compact bumper to put on the front, and is there a spindle swap that is stronger than OEM? I hear they are weak. Also, what do do about the thermostat, how much wiring can I get rid of, and transmission tips for longevity and maybe posi?

I bypass the t-sat, and run a full loop, for short heats, just remember HAVE A PRESSURE RELEIF somewhere or you will end up with a pipe bomb.
