thats my car but my friend drove it in that derby, im to younge because i have to be 18 or older. he said the tranny was slipping some but the car blew a slit all the way dont the hose from the radiator to the motor, when he got pushed up on the wall the car died. we put it on the trailer and didnt even look under the hood. the first derby i drove it in i had a fuse blow so it wouldnt start back up.
and i ran the donut tires on the back.

has anyone ever made a dp for one of these or whats the chances of anything getting to the distributor cap?
me and two of my demo guys are trying to talk the promoter into letting compacts do bumper swaps. what bumper would you guys use on a crx?
full-size bumper option and "compact" bumper options please

im running a 70s seamwelded thunderbird bumper next year. bought two of them so i hope they are worth the money. The clean one will only be seam welded, and the other rusty one will have a homemade backing on it.
any input on these bumpers is needed.

They will be fine on a compact if you can keep them on the car.

As far as the dp idea goes, never done it but I have seen a Civic's bumper get cleared and the dist. get broke in half. I have never had a problem with the 4 Accords, 2 Civics, and Prelude I built but it can happen.

my bumper height was set at 24 inches from ground to top of bumper. Could of went higher but it sat good where it was. No problems with distributor but I would not run a accord not lifted because it wouldn't take much to break distributor cap off. ;D

Mines at 27 to the top and getting ran in a couple of weeks. Kind of nervous on how it will hold up. Just dimpled the rear and pre bent it. And the middle of the trunk lid is 23 inches off the ground.
