P/S is useless on a Honda. I have owned 2 hondas that didn't have power steering from the factory and both were drivers. Didn't really notice a difference even on the road. Anyone ever ran any newer Hondas? Picked up a 98 4 door Civic today. Was in a very minor accident. Didn't look it over too close yet, threw the dealer plate on and drove it home for the price. Anything different or just build it like the older ones?

I've seen a couple 99-00 Accords do very good. We had 2 96 h/b this year. They're not bad except the fact they're awfully small. I'd build it the same way I'd build an older one.

Looking for a block drain on this 90 Accord....don't want to have to spend money on antifreeze for the winter. Normally, I just drop the bottom hose and get lucky, but on this, both hoses go in at the top of the engine. The only plug I'm finding is a couple inches below the oil filter. Took it out & it just dumps oil.
Anyone know where the heck a water drain plug would be on this?

Anyone know where the heck a water drain plug would be on this? hey it should be a big allen key plug on the front of the block next to the header on the passenger side. may be behind the header depending on the setup. i always drain the hondas with the header out the way. that will drain the coolant out of the block. hope this helps. Ok, it still has the stock exhaust going down. It might be in the way to see. We plan on building a header for it this winter, but we are expecting a hard freeze tomorrow night, so I'll go ahead & buy a jug of antifreeze for it. Guess we'll drain it next year. The car will be long dead, but I intend to use this engine in multiple cars til it pukes. Thanks for the info.

Just has the 2.2l in it Yes, it is in the fuse box under the hood by the firewall, it is one of the larger fuses. It will leave you stranded if it blows. The fan or radiator support coming in contact with the alternator positive stud is the main cause of it blowing. Use several layers of floor mat or wood to protect it.

I seen an 80 amp marked battery?

We ditched the alternator on our '90. Seems to still run great.

Take a look it should be easy to tell. What are you allowed for bumpers/mounting? Rear should be ok without the hatch. Maybe run some 9 wire in a big X to hold it together and keep other cars out.

not allowed bumper swap so with that being said a honda crx hasnt ever ran at this show before so i dont think there's going to be much for them to go by if oh i dont know some extra metal was added to the bumper support and behind the support. should i keep the ac compressor in or remove it? im thinking i should take it out. and also how do the headlights come out??? i got the top two bolts in the core support but it still wont come out or is there more bolts behind the bumper support???
