Rear frame notches about 1 1/2 wide 3 inch down pie cut out right behind the shock tubes

Put a new Timing belt in it if you haven't planned on it !!!! and re-curve the dist , It does wonders for that little 1.6

Put a new Timing belt in it if you haven't planned on it !!!! and re-curve the dist , It does wonders for that little 1.6 I did put a new timing belt in it $8 dollars is a pretty cheap insurance policy and replacing the belt was probably the easiest timing belt I have ever done. blocked off the egr and rebuilt the carb new plugs wires cap rotor coil and ignition modular in the dist it still has a little hiccup when cold and every now and then will burp out the carb but once its warm it runs good for all 65ish ponies under the hood What do you mean by re-curve the dist?

Hopefully someone still reads these. Running a semi stock team show, would a loaded bumper be too much for a chevette? To tie in to the "frame" we're allowed either shocks welded solid or a 4x4x1/4 plate. I have, I believe, a stock 80s cadillac bumper and the factory vette bumper, they can be loaded between the frame rails.
Any thoughts on bumper selection? I'm leaning towards the caddy bumper because it's got a point, and while it'll be hell on my front rails, I'm aiming more for front wheels.

Caddy bumper shoul be ok , Front's are pretty tough on them if you hit square .
