Is a 79 thunderbird front bumper too heavy of a bumper for a stock class 93 wagon?

Don’t see why not just try to use stock shocks or the t bird shocks stuffed in the unibody

Building a 96 Century for a fair show. I have everything done except for the front end. I still need to pretend the rear when I get to a skid steer. Any tips on the front end of these? I already have new front motor mounts cut. I am allowed 4 4”x5” plates and didn’t know the best place to put them. Also allowed 2 1” allthread(already plan to run that through the front subframe mounts. I am also allowed another 6 1/2” allthread. Any ideas?! IMG_2221.HEIC IMG_2220.HEIC IMG_2222.HEIC

What is everyone doing with the EGR valve when putting headers on the 3100 motor?

Probably just delete it. Trace a 1/8 plate with the egr, cut it out. Bolt it up.

Just a random tip, you can use a cable style shifter on these cars if you cut and extend the stock shifter bracket located on transmission. See a lot of guys asking about shifters in these cars

What is the best way to relocate the coil packs on the 3100 cutlass cieras? Stupid question. Have you taken the heater core and plastic box on the firewall out yet? Coil packs are in a pretty good spot on these cars. Shouldn’t need any relocating

And I've tried a set of dec headers and a set of Jeff schoemans headers and they both come in contact with the coil packs. This is a 1995 olds cutlass ciera sl with a 3100 not 3.1

As far as I know 3.1s never came in cierras, but make a bracket that goes over top of the intake manifold, get creative idk, cut you’re hood right in the middle in case of clearance issues with the coils on hood foam, epoxy, tape do whatever you got to do so they don’t arch off the hood. But most importatly remember headers won’t help you be competitive by no means if you can’t make them work, save headers for a future w body. Good luck.

Alright I made them work. Here's what all I had to do. On the front. The whole motor mount *bracket* has to come off (which includes ac pump). When installing the headers take the factory manifold gasket and cut it into 3 smaller gaskets using tin snips or any tool that you can precisely cut thin metal with. On the rear header, remove heater core/ ac box, pull motor towards the front with a ratchet strap or come along, remove coil packs and simply bolt the back bolt holes of the coil pack bracket to the front bolt holes on the intake and bend them down a little (need to re route wires in order for this to work otherwise they are very tight and the wires could pull out of the plugs that plug into your coilpacks while you're in the ring. Also need to zip tie your map sensor up somewhere away from the headers and if possible fabricate a heat shield or make sure your headers are wrapped at the manifold due to the plug wires being somewhat close to the header pipes. I appreciate everybody's input and hope this helps somebody else. Now that it runs again it's time to burn some wire and go make some junk.

Stupid question, my century on the master cylinder I’m looking to close the rear brakes off they are they the two lines on the rear of the master? I can see the front top line going to The drivers side but can’t trace the passenger side that great
