Gut n' Go rules do not let me change engine mounts or run an after market shifter. It seems that those points are some of the main issues with these cars that can take them out easily. Tossed a couple zip ties around the cable in hopes that it will help if that becomes my issue. Attachments:

It takes awhile to go through all the pages in this thread, i've done it. So I can tell you there is information within these 59 pages about hotwiring the trans but I cant remember exactly what page. Also not sure if it only pertains to certain years or if it holds true for all. Start scrolling and you should find what you're looking for or if I get bored later I'll see if I can find it.

Pro tip for 99-up taurus's (probably works with the 96-98s as well)..take the trunk lid off. The frame rails on my buddies taurus he ran bent right up and the trunk is packing in perfect. Also, cut off the big plastic pieces on the radiator where it mounts to the core support and make sure they're flush. Seen demolition missions post a video about it, gave it a try and it still doesnt leak after a decent run lol. Does anyone know if wagon struts are stronger though?..gonna be running stuffed tires next time and wanna try to keep them from cambering after one hit to them

If your not afraid of a little cheating you can put a piece of pipe up inside from the bottom that no one would ever see. I forget what size 1 1/2” black iron maybe. Slides up inside perfectly just gotta cut the bottom cap off.

So what do you all do for shifters? I'm using a 4th gen if it makes a difference. But 3rd and 4th aren't that different. Also do you all remove the ABS if your car has one.

99 Taurus 3.0 put a simple solution fuel cell with pump 46psi but having an over fueling problem now any suggestion would be helpful. Did read putting a tee in line might help but never heard the out come
