if your referring to a 14 bolt as the 8 bolt rearend I'm hoping to put one under mine that I'm going to build as an outlaw figure 8 car. It'll have a 305 v8 because that's all I can afford right now and it will be my first car if anyone would be interested in the build up in the spring I could post pics and do a complete build thread

^^Why?
3rd gen camaros are nothing like a 2nd or 1st gen camaro. 3rd gens are just crappy unibody cars that happen to do good in derbyin.

All of them are unibody and you should go to the circle jerk tracks most all of the Ump mods or Imca mods have your precious Camaro or Chevelle front subs under them so we need to be strung up.. Naw I am looking for 2 73-8? Leaf spring Camaros right now as close to Michigan as possible.

^^^^^^I believe the years you are looking for are 74-81...hope that helps.
collins.......others have tried and failed. These 3rd gen's (82-92) were massively over produced, and never had any sense of style. Nothing you could ever do to it would make it prettier than a cage, some diggers, hard ass bumper of choice, flying across a track at another car.
However, when you have spent your hard earned cash to get one, it will be all yours, and you can do whatever you want with it . I would even sell yopu mine for the right price & it would be yours to do with as you please. By the way, mine was half stripped and crusher bound when I got it. Wish I could have afforded the other one that the same guy was junking. I could only afford one. Both were clean, so I took the one without t-tops.
We are derby guys...destroying automobiles is what we do. My bet is that a good share of them were soon to be crusher bound anyway. May as well give them one last glory run first.

Could you post a few more pics of that beast? I'm quite intrigued with the build and if I could id like to do something like that with my outlaw figure 8 car I love that build so far though great job!
