My front was slightly under solid had to cut it at the show to have more than just a little bounce.

any one swap the spindles to the other side an put a rack n pion on it so u can shorten it more then just up to the steering box? I got the front struts piped an lengthened so I can run 225/15s on the front since the 15in spares was dragging the tranny cross member in the mud with 14s on the rear now need to move steering to take care of the front bending.

Haven't tought of that but that's a brilliant idea. Can't leave much room for a radiator tho.

^^^^^Shortening never does, but if your rules will allow for that much modification, they probably allow you to build the front pretty stiff anyway.
Probably looking at my first leaf conversion on my next Camaro. Any specific tips for not screwing it up?

Has anyone swapped spindles to say 2nd gen Camaro and got rid of struts by adding an upper control arm? I have one waiting to be built, thinking will be full weld compact, this was just a thought I had haven't studied front suspension to know if its even possible?? Any thoughts??

my talkin about getting rid of my steering box off the frame an mount the rack to the k frame. an I wouldn't put upper a arms on it if u plan to weld ur brackets to the unibody frame bc a good shot will just rip the upper mounts out of your frame. that thought did cross my mind too. strut aren't weak if u pipe them. just swap ur spindles to something stronger tho.

Wouldn't that run into clearance issues with your oil pan.

Takes a little redneck engineering to get a foxbody strut mounted, but it is doable.
what o you have to do to put the mustang spindles on the car ?
