So the 61-64 rear ends are 9-3/8, with a diff cover, not a 3rd member? Idk what they are but axles wont work on anything if thats what youre thinking, crappy gears. junk?

Iv never seen a suicide in person. Because they are out lawed a lot of places around me. But I found one for a decent deal. Was gunna see if maybe I could run it with another body but that answer my question

It’s all good, but it would kinda be like trying to convert a w body to something else. I would still get it though, could always resell to a derby guy and make a little extra cash if it’s cheap enough or would travel to where you could run it.

Alright guys, I have a few questions on a 61 suicide. I'm trying to get my plans and parts lined up so when I go to start on it early next year I can roll right through the build...
-Using mid 70's LTD spindles and upper controls arms, welding the upper a-arms down for full lock up, and mounting a pointy (mounted the right way), what kind of front bumper height can I expect?
-Will Nerat Ford billet hubs mount on the 70's ltd spindles?
-Does anyone have a Joker centerlink that could send me a few pics and measurements? (I already talked to Joker and he approved me asking for this info).

thanks for the reply! I think I have everything sorted out now other than spindle choice. I have to use OEM spindles so aftermarket is out of the question. I have the 70's ltd spindles still attached to the upper a-arms that I removed, but my question is, out of the 70's LTD spindle, 80's ford spindles, or 70's fullsize GM spindles, which ones are going to give me the most bumper height?

I was told 80’s give more than 70’s but I haven’t measured.

Im building my first suicide! I plan on running a 02 chevy 350 bore to a 355.... turbo 400. Ive also been told to change the a arms to Cadillac's or chevy. Im allowed to run a 4"x10" plate to hard nose with it being a L shape 10" on the frame 4" on the bumper. Is there a certain height to put the bumper or is there anything else i need to do???

Don’t think Gm a arms would be a direct fit 73-78 fomoco control arms fit best with little modifications since you’re new to the site the best advice I can reading from page one you’ll find a good amount of info on stuff to do pictures etc.

There's a guy in Fresno that runs the caddi arms and he told me to do it. I havent tried anything yet. Im getting a lot of help from them. Mostly looking on direct mounting height to frame

No problem welcome to the site. I’ve personally couldn’t tell you about the caddy arms just using things that have worked for me on a few I’ve built years ago with little modifications. but by the sounds of it your rules seem pretty open to your car if you can get ahold of the caddy spindles as well that would be a good addition too. You want to gain a little bit of height with these cars imo because the bumper should be welded right in line with the frame for less leverage.
