Depends where you are.. i say $250 is more than fair for an entire complete frame front to back. But then you see some guys asking 400 for cradle alone do it depends on supply and demand i guess.. people.putting 03 frames under street rods and 60s ford trucks is kinda changing things

Any tips on how not to keep breaking bellhousings in th350/th400? Have dist protector, trans protector 3/4 bar style, gonna clean one up and put a steel bell in it, but was hoping someone might have some other ideas?

That and housings have variations in castings, too long of a case or too short of a case for the brace can make things wonky as well with breaking. Other then that, just a top brace still leaves weak points, even with a bell there can still be stress points. If it's a repeat issue, don't lock it in as hard, car isn't as hard but saves trannys.

Thanks for responding, I realized I posted in wrong section needed to be 98-02, I imagine with structure of 03+ my issue should be lessened and I should be able to put all the bending in front of a arms per our rules so I won't be having it flex so much behind boxes and flexing the bellhousing.i don't have a midplate but I have a built engine so my biggest concern is breaking back of block "again"

Around here I'd say 1 outta 3 are breaking bells on there 03s but that's just ultra bells and no braces. Alot.of flex and movement going on

So I'm thinking about buying the 03 nation steering and cradle. Has anyone ever used it? How did it hold up, and what suspension set up did you use with it?

Also id damn near run without a brace than with a 3 bar....seen a lot of broken trans with them on cars that in my opinon wouldn't have broken a trans
