How are guys putting 80s ford front clip on, and getting the radiator support mounts to line up correctly? If I missed this in the post, please tell me the page number and I will gladly go back and read. Thanks

Thanks Believe they are still using 03 core supports just plating bottom for the spacers and running it unless you narrow the 80s core support

I am assuming that length of frame makes a difference how many places you tilt in front of the a-arms.... does anyone know the length of the frame from A-arms to the bumper? give or take 3 inches due to personal preference of A-arm mount location. For this instance, let's say the radiator support is in stock location and not moved back..... I know one person who said theirs was only 13 inches, but I know some cars such as a 70s caddy, are roughly 18 inches. Just trying to learn and see roughly where these cars are lengthwise, from A-arms to bumper.

Looked through and got some conflicting info, so figured I'd ask.
What year started the steel uppers and lowers?
I saw one post that said they start in 05 and another 06+, and are they all up to 11 or only certain years?
Ran an 03 about 5 years ago and broke the actual upper on pass side/both tie rods and said never again.
Run windshield rules so I can't change anything out.

If you could have one 4x6 patch on one of these, where would you put it when allowed down tubes to frame

After cutting the front back to the core support hole, almost takes care of crumple zone

Either firewall right at the factory gap by body mount at firewall or right where rail starts to angle up in front of a arm. No where else to worry about
