I did most that myself. I wanted to use up the back first. Mostly because I'm use to driving 74-76 GMs Then in the feature I went nose to nose several times with a well built Cordoba and many other cars. The car was tough as nails until I took a track shot to the right front wheel while the other side was pinned against the concrete barrier. The sub bent every which way it could. The back was short leafed with a dually chevy truck set of leaves. I notched the frame and bumper shocks so it folded up nicely and used a nice and soft 75 Ford Ranchero front bumper on the back. The back was rolling/packing perfectly. It sort of looks like it is going gown because I took a hard shot to the right 1/4 which broke my 8 3/4 axle. It was not going down though. If I could have found a donor front sub, I would have ran it again. Instead it went on to Mopar heaven. I did manage a second place finish. I might have won if I was not stuck in the wet mud with a one wheeler peeler.

That's why I like our dirt barriers... Never ran anywhere but dirt ones...

Thanks!
Have had a little bad luck lately... I went to change oil, and the oil pan was full of water (warped heads and allegedly cracked block). My own fault for not putting antifreeze in it, only drained water. Lesson learned I guess. So I'll be running a stock 305 this go around.
I went to knock weld slag off a part of the subframe, and put a hole through it with my slag hammer. Sub is very thin on the drivers side, so this car should be interesting to say the least.

All homemade... about the same concept as a robbo, but you can undo the mopar piece and keep the regular cradle on engine for fords, gms, etc.
