I spaced mine to keep from cutting firewall and tunnel. Put mu sbc in it n the dist. Is directly under the firewall. Heads r 1inch away from firewall. Hard to clear the rear cross member if any further fwd than that.

Engine cradle is the ONLY way to properly mount an engine in a sub-frame Imperial. All other options put too much stress on the block and other components, IMO.

And what is the best way to run a Chevrolet power steering pump to a 67 Imperial steering box? How should i modify the steering column? Can anyone help me with this?

Take the hose from the Mopar steering box and the hose from the GM steering pump. go down to a mechanics shop that makes hydraulic hoses... explain to them that you need a custom hose with a "fitting like this"(hold up the mopar hose) on one end and a "fitting like this"(hold up the GM hose) on the other end.... that covers the pressure side the return hose can pretty much be spliced with any piece of tubing and a couple hose clamps.

Do you think the hose clamps would be ok and hold up to all the pressure? I could be wrong, but don't the power steering lines have a lot of pressure flowing through them?

Hose clamps will work fine, for the return hose. But NOT for the pressure hose!

i got a robbo cradle for mine went right in no problem. as for power steering if you have the stock hose from the 440 it is the same exact size n thread as a chevy hose so it screws right into the pump and just get normal hose from advanced auto for the return
