Does anyone have a pick of an imperial sub? I know I saw some somewhere on we-crash but I can't find them now.

is a monaco bumper too much for a 68 hardnosed? I don't think there is a stock bumper that is too hard for a imp sub.

74-78 C body spindle will bolt right on to the 67-73 Imp ball joints. It uses a 5 on 4.5" wheel bolt pattern for the rotor.

im hoping to pick up a 1968 crown imperial in a month and a 1975 imperial this weekend. i just finished our home towns derby with my 70 newport and im going to start the build early this time. my plan is to run the 75 in aug at a show that will not pay out to well and keep the 68 for the good show. the 68 has no motor or trans and the 75 has the 440. i still have the 383 and trans from my newport but im not sure which motor would be my best option? i will plan to use the 75 engine mount for both cars and keep the 75 front suspension to put into the 68 as well. i will try to post pictures of my newport in the best paint section. i wont best paint this year. and two fourth place finishes

that's really an engine question and not a car chassis question... I'd have a look-see over in the Mopar big block engines thread for more info comparing a 440 to a 383.

I just picked up my first Imp, it's a '68 and it's really clean except for a few rust thru spots (holes) where I circled in the picture. Other than that the sub has some good old midwest scale but is solid as can be. Should I be concerned with it rusting in these "ears" where the stock bumper is bolted to? Sorry the pic is so crappy

some folks cut those off right from the start anyway. I leave them on to give the bumper more backing but overall I'd say that they are not mission critical.

Just wondering if a spindle off of a newyorker or Newport is stronger? I ran a 73 imperial an the left upper ball joint broke n bottom 1 pulled out n wheel fell off just wondering which is best? Thanks
