yeah you have to keep the pivot linkage in the middle on those ones. You should only have to modify the part that engages the master. If you reduced it to one piece you probably have it at a funky angle and it is in a bind I just put a pinch frame pedal assembly in my 68 fury, used the doba master cylinder, bolted right up to the top two holes, made the push rod 3 inches longer, added a pedal stop and it worked great. Just remember it is now a manual brake setup and the pedal will be rock hard to push.. be prepared for a sore calf muscle after the derby lol

I should say the pedal assembly bolted in the same holes as the factory pedal assembly

How can I gain anything ? there are a couple of things you could do. ladder bars are the simplest. look at the rear link between the top, rear leaf spring and the shackle. just cut that piece out and make a longer one with bolts and steel plate.. I prefer to lift the entire rear end off the ground by the bumper so that the leaf springs stretch out using a big jack, or tractor, or forklift. then clamp each leaf spring together. its a cheap lift and it makes the tail end much stronger. its not often i stretch out the springs before i clamp them, but IMO its a much better option than using ladder bar extension.

Stuff or bolting shocks is a pretty easy, cheap, and effective way to gain height.

I know ,wrong thread. Demo is Sunday being pressured into putting racing fuel in my 400 motor. Got brand new edelbrock carb. Should I run it or is racing fuel gonna give me extra snap and not screw my motor uo

That's a never ending debate... some say yes some say no in a stock engine.. I personally would mix it 50/50 with regular fuel

I run 50/50 with a splash of marvel mystery oil on all my stock motors. I never have engine problems. Its all personal preference. This is definately the wrong thread though. There is a fuel thread in the general build tips thread locator.

Maybe a dumb Q.. I'm looping my steering box (ps) lines but lost most of the fluid out of it upon flipping the frame over. Do these boxes need fluid in them or will it steer just fine without any? Running without ps.

Running without ps. I've never looped lines on one and have run many.... many.... without a pump and without any fluid in them. I don't think they care. Mopar steering boxes are the strongest of the three in my experience.
