Wouldn't the motor sitting up that high without gussets allow the whole thing to rock front and backwards?

I really dislike the idea of crossbreeding, but where I already have a chevy motor on a cradle sitting out and would have to build another sbm, I am looking into it. Has anyone used one of these, and if so how much firewall did you have to alter to get it to work? Also which trans is the best to be able to use the stock crossmember and a slider? Caddy long shaft? www.derbyparts.com/Mopar-Conversion-Cradle-p/cr141008.htm

1965 y framers, and 1964 and older y framers for sure with the funky mounts, and probably some doba style pinch framers depending.

Any info on putting a sbf 302/351w into a y framer mopar? Sbf in a y frame I just welded 3x3 to the frame to move the mounts back far enough and used an 80s truck pan to clear the drag link

Ok just read through here and didn't see anything on it. How about dropping in a 460 c6 tranny in a 71 imp? Any huge problems as it's the only engine I have
