Anyone ever add a GM engine cradle in a shocker? Kinda like you do on a 03+ vic. I cut one out of a 73 olds 98.

I've always ran mopar motors in mine, but was wondering if a sbc would go in there without cutting out a bunch of firewall.

I think it will with a little massaging of the firewall, also a dp would help.

Pics would be great. I'm about to put my 355 into a shocker for the first time. And how to you bolt the trannys 350 with short tail? Any info is appreciated

Got my 355 bolted in this weekend. Plenty of clearance of the steering, and long tail trans rests nicely on the stock crossmember. Chained and #9 wired it to the mount. Sorry for the messy shop, been busy..lol

Wondering how you guys mount an LS motor into a shocker or a y-framer. They make a front sump pan, but they are quite spendy. Any suggestions? Thanks
