Just get some flat stock and bolt it to the rail then to the spring

The frame is narrower then the springs.

It will work just run the flat stock down not along the rail, then bolt it to spring just like shackle normally is

Better to take the rear bumper off or leave it on a 74-77 C body wagon?

Better to take the rear bumper off or leave it on a 74-77 C body wagon? as discussed in this thread, that decision is based heavily on how you build the rear of the car, what condition it is in, and how you want to drive it. Read up...

What's up with a 1964 polara wagon? Worth the investment or move on?

the back is no better or worse than any other Mopar wagon. The front is like the other 60's midsize pinch frame cars- it needs a lot of welding and a better bumper.

Whats a good height for a front bumper on a y-frame. I'm running a very clean 73 Plymouth suburban. Right now I'm setting it up for a 78 Newport rear bumper, shocks stuffed in frame. I mocked it up but seems low. I have not cranked up the torsion bars yet.

How hard will it be to weld the rear sub to the body? Should i plate the humps on a 69 t&c? How can i make this car not get tore in the back. Everyone i see they fold fast in the back.

Build a set of flat leaf springs to the max of the rules and place them under the frame rails, plate and chain humps, bolt the body through the rear frame rails in as many spots as possible, run kickers from your cage to the top of the humps, weld weld weld.

What about a 1961 Plymouth Golden Commando? Any opinions on if that would be a good wagon to run?
