YOU WOULD STILL HAVE TO BUY A 10-12 CONVERSION SPOOL. OR MAKE YOUR OWN WITH 9 INCH 31 SPLINE SIDE GEARS.....NOT FUN.....

I have a 10 bolt with 12 bolt axles now and I took the side gears out of the 12 bolt and turned them down with the brake lathe at work so they would fit. Wasnt too bad. Thanks for the input crusher.

12 bolt Cadillac SOMEWHAT INCORRECT.....THE AXLE DIAMETER IS LARGER THAN EVEN A 31 SPLINE 12 BOLT AXLE... THE PASSENGER SIDE CAN BE CUT DOWN, RESPLINED AND USED... AND THE BEARING RETAINER IS THICKER, ALONG WITH A THICKER FLANGE........ ;D hey crusher what year did these axles come out of I bought a set off a kid and I think that's what they where I think the splines where freshly cut and said raptor fab on the side of them in marker

EVEY COUPLE YEARS, SOMEONE ASKS THAT QUESTION. THE ANSWER IS "NO". IT DOESNT HELP, IS A TOTAL PAIN IN THE A$$ AND RUINS A GOOD REAR END. YOU WONT BE ABLE TO FILL THE REAR FULL OF LUBE, OR BLEED THE BRAKES, AND THE DRIVESHAFT WOULD HIT THE TUNNEL. END OF STORY, GOODNIGHT.....
